A SHOW OF PERSONAL VICTORY - EDUCATING THROUGH PERFORMANCE WITH MUSIC - COMEDY - MIME - WISDOM Lana has performed at numerous celebrity events, (including “Comedy Under the Stars” honoring Director/Producer, Garry Marshall (Pretty Woman, Runaway Bride), “Youth Gang Services Awards” hosted by Edward James Olmos as well as the Cinema premieres, “Sliver” starring Sharon Stone and “Little Man Tate” starring Jodie Foster. Lana has enjoyed giving benefit performances at the Children’s Hospital, homeless shelters and AIDS hospices in Los Angeles. Recently, Lana has performed her show at women’s conferences, domestic violence shelters and fundraisers. In her program Lana discusses her personal experiences of domestic violence and alcoholism. By educating herself, she discovered the guidelines that led her to wellness and empowerment. To add excitement to her show, Lana sings five songs. Audiences are riveted when she sings her original song about domestic violence called “Middle of the Night”. Spiced with comedy and mime, Lana’s show is a “gotta see”, thought-provoking performance! |
